Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains the small set of cookies and browser-storage entries CHAFIKTECH uses, why each one exists, and how you can control them. We keep this list minimal on purpose: the product does not embed advertising networks or third-party analytics trackers.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off in the product, because the application would not work without them:
- Session cookie (name configured per installation) — keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. It is an HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie; over HTTPS it is additionally flagged Secure. The session is stored server-side and expires after a period of inactivity.
ct_bar— remembers that you dismissed the guest sign-in reminder bar for one day, so it does not reappear on every page.
Local browser storage (not cookies)
The interface stores two preferences in localStorage purely for comfort, and
they never leave your browser except as an explicit preference sync when you are signed in:
pr-theme— your dark/light theme choice.- Interface language — the UI language you picked.
ct_pending_idea(sessionStorage, cleared automatically) — briefly holds the idea you were typing so it can be restored in the Studio after you sign in.
What we do not use
- No advertising or remarketing cookies.
- No third-party analytics or tracking pixels.
- No social-media widgets that set cookies just by loading the page.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session
cookie means you will not be able to sign in, and forms that mutate data will be rejected.
Clearing localStorage simply resets your theme and language preferences.
